Directing camp this summer will be Nick Schmidt! Coach Schmidt is a former D1 Player, Professional Player, and current coach at D3's Capital University.
Coach Nick Schmidt played collegiate lacrosse at Division I Rutgers University, competing in the Big Ten Conference. During his time there, he played a key role in leading the Scarlet Knights to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in twelve years. Following his collegiate career, he returned to Rutgers as an assistant coach and went on to build a successful coaching résumé at both the high school and club levels, while also serving as a teacher at the elementary and high school levels.
In addition to his coaching career, Coach Schmidt played six seasons of professional lacrosse in Major League Lacrosse (MLL), now known as the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL).
He currently serves as an assistant coach at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and also coaches with Resolute Lacrosse.
