Nick White Curry College Coach

Nick White coaches the men's tennis team at Duke University.

White joins Duke after spending the past three seasons as an assistant men’s tennis coach at MIT. There, White helped lead the team to its highest national ranking in 10 years at No. 19, and a record of 48-18. He also helped Tyler Barr to ITA All-America accolades in 2017.

While at MIT, White learned under head coach David Hagymas, who was an assistant at Duke from 1992-2004 and coached Ramsey Smith while he was playing with the Blue Devils.

In addition to White’s work at MIT, he has served a Nike Tennis Camp director as well as a private tennis coach. He played on the ATP Future Circuit in 2011-12 and was a volunteer assistant for the men’s and women’s programs at Babson in 2013.

White graduated from Brandeis University in May of 2011 with a degree in politics. As a member of the tennis squad, White ended his final year with a national ranking of No. 25 in singles and reached a career-high standing of No. 17 in doubles.
