Nico Sirera
Coach
Nico Sirera, a prominent coach from Barcelona, has been coaching for 9 years at Atletico Sant Just, one of Barcelona’s elite academies partnered with FC Barcelona. He has consistently demonstrated his coaching expertise, contributing to the development of young talents.
Currently, Nico serves as the head coach of U14A (Preferent) and the assistant coach of U16 (Primera), while also coordinating the formation stage for U7 and U8. He holds UEFA A and UEFA B coaching certifications and is well-versed in the P4SA methodology, which he will leverage to bring significant experience to the field.
In the 2023/24 season, he was the head coach of U14 (Primera) and the assistant coach of U16 (Preferent), in addition to coordinating U10 and U7/U8. During the 2022/23 season, Nico led U14 (Primera) and U12 (Preferent). In 2021/22, he coached U19 (Primera) and U12 (Primera) and served as the assistant coach for U16 (Divisio de Honor). In the 2020/21 season, he was the head coach of U19 (Segona) and U12 (Segona), both of which achieved promotion, and he also assisted with U16 (Preferent), which also earned promotion.
Nico has extended his expertise internationally by conducting camps in Norway, where he shared Catalonia's methodological approaches with local coaches.
