Nola Carter
Director of Basketball Operations

Nola Carter begins her role at Sacred Heart as the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations for the 2025-26 season. Most recently, Nola served as an Assistant Coach at St. Leo University in St. Leo, FL from August 2021 where she assisted with player development, scouting and recruiting.
Prior to coaching, Carter played basketball at Fort Valley State University, where she was a standout 5'10" guard for the Lady Wildcats. She served as team captain throughout her collegiate career (2016–2020), finishing with 1,069 career points and over 700 rebounds. A member of the 1,000-point club and a 2nd Team All-SIAC selection. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology in 2020.
Nola Carter, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, is a proud graduate of Ribault High School, where she helped lead the Lady Trojans to three state championships and a 2016 Dicks National Championship. A four-year varsity player and team captain from 2013–2016, she was named Most Improved Player of the 2016 Dicks Nationals and earned All-Gateway Conference honors.
Off the court, Carter has built a strong foundation in coaching, contributing to programs including Potters House Christian Academy, East Coast United AAU program, and summer league and skills camps across Georgia and Florida.
