Paul Benvenuti

Paul Benvenuti is entering his second season as an assistant coach of the Jessup men's soccer team.

Paul was born and raised in Sacramento, California and has lived in the Sacramento area for over 38 years. Growing up playing baseball, soccer, football, basketball and running track where he excelled as an athlete in high school playing football. Coach Paul began coaching baseball, basketball and football over 20 years ago after a semi professional playing career playing football. Coach Paul began coaching soccer in 2004 in Antelope for the local AYSO and has since become the head coach of the Antelope High School varsity boys in 2013, winning a section championship in 2018. Paul also coaches at Capital Valley United Soccer Club in Sacramento and has been with the club since 2010 coaching boys U10-U19 in the Norcal Premiere League. While currently coaching high school soccer and competitive soccer, Paul is also the club president at CVU. He currently holds a CYSA E/D license, Coerver Youth Diploma, United Soccer Coaches Association- Futsal Level 1, 4v4-7v7 and 9v9 Online Diploma, Goal Keeping Level 1, Principles of Attacking, Principles of Defending, Foundations of Coaching, NFHS Certificate and Positive Coaching Course Certificate. Paul worked as an EMT for over 15 years in Northern California working at Mercy San Juan hospital as a Trauma Tech II and Medic Ambulance in Solano County in the 911 system.
