Payton Nuse

On staff this summer is Payton Nuse. Coach Nuse is the starting Goalie for Corban University.

2023: Started all seven games for Corban... record of 3-4 on the year, allowing 73 goals... recorded 77 saves, finished with a shot percentage of .513… set a program record 77 saves on the season, finished first (20 saves) and second (14 saves) for single match saves. Ranks second in record books with Goals Against Average of 10.43… Member of the 2023 Corban Women’s Lacrosse squad that finished 3-4 overall and set a program record of 101 goals scored. The team was also the least penalized in school history, with only four yellow cards distributed in all seven games played…

2022: A second-year member of the 2022 women’s lacrosse team…started every game in the goal for the Warriors…recorded 40 saves and eight groundballs…

2021: Member of the Inaugural 2021 Corban women’s lacrosse team who had their season severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Personal: Given her numerous accomplishments at the prep level, Nuse adds a fortifying presence in goal for the Warriors. Having been ranked as high as the sixth-best goalie in the nation at the prep level, she was an All-League honoree—as well as the team captain—at Santiago High School. Also competing for the SoCal Express in the club season, Nuse has a well-traveled lacrosse background.
