Paguibitan is an accomplished educator and coach with over 14 years of soccer coaching
experience. Paguibitan coaches at Charlotte Latin School, where he was named the Assistant Coach
of the Year by the North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association on his way to
helping the soccer team win a state championship in 2023. He has served as the
varsity head coach at Davidson Day School and the Director of Sports Psychology
at Lake Norman Soccer Club (Charlotte Independence).
Coach Paguibitan has merged his passion and knowledge for psychology and soccer to create a robust Mental Skills Coaching curriculum designed to teach self-awareness, facilitate emotional regulation skills, and build belongingness among teammates. Coach Paguibitan believes that as much as good soccer players are technically and tactically sound, they are also mentally resilient.
