Ryan Goggans

Camp Director

Ryan Goggans - Camp Director

Ryan Goggans is in his fourth year leading the St. Norbert College men's and women's swimming and diving programs in 2025-26.

In 2024-25, Goggans coached Owen Pittenger to the NCAA Division III Central Diving Regional, the first diver in program history to qualify for postseason competition.

In the 2023-24 season, Goggans was named the Midwestern Conference's Women's Swimming and Diving Coach of the Year, after leading the team to a second place finish at the conference championships.

Goggans arrived at St. Norbert after serving as head men’s and women’s swimming and diving coach at Ripon College for eight seasons. During his time in Ripon, the Red Hawks reset school records 58 times and posted eight individual Midwest Conference champions.

Ripon’s team performance at the Midwest Conference Championship under Goggans’ leadership showed consistent performance during his tenure. The Red Hawks fashioned a third-place men’s finish in 2018 – the Red Hawks’ best in the last 20 years – along with a fourth-place showing in 2022. Ripon had a pair of fourth-place finishes on the women’s side in 2017 and 2018, their best finishes since a third-place conference standing in 2004.

In addition to his coaching duties at Ripon, Goggans served as the school’s compliance supervisor, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee liaison, and teaching courses in exercise science. He was also the Midwest Conference Swimming Committee Chair from 2018 to 2020.

An Appleton, native, Goggans swam collegiately at NCAA Division II St. Cloud State University. A team captain as a senior, he was an honorable mention All-America Scholar-Athlete in 2013. Goggans earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences in 2013. He completed a master’s degree in collegiate sport administration from Coker College in 2016.
