Sal Carricato is a 2019 Sachem East High School graduate that helped lead his team to the playoffs every year. Sal attended Eckerd College out of high school but was only there for a year due to COVID. He then transferred to Herkimer CCC for two years where he helped them to their first World Series Title in 2022 hitting .400 average his first year with 5 home runs and .365 average his second year with 9 home runs while being named First team All-Conference and First Team All-Region.
He is now attending Lenoir Rhyne University where he batted .369 with 11 home runs his first year being named First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-Region, and named on the All-Conference Tournament Team in 2023. His 2024 Campaign started off with being named 2024 Preseason First Team All-Conference and Preseason First Team All-Region. This year he batted .326 with 17 home runs and so far, has been named to the First Team All-Conference list. Sal will play one more year at Lenoir Rhyne University as he will also be pursuing an MBA in the graduate program.
