Assistant Coach
Scott Considine

Scott “Chino” Considine is an experienced baseball coach and leader who brings passion and dedication to developing players on and off the field. Considine joined the SNHU baseball staff as an assistant coach in June 2021, helping lead the team to conference and regional championships, as well as two appearances in the NCAA Division II College World Series.
Prior to joining SNHU, Considine held assistant and head coaching roles with colleges (Kentucky Christian and West Virginia Tech University), at the high school level, and for American Legion and travel ball programs, notably, Next Level Baseball North Carolina. At NLB NC, he led his team to a top-20 national ranking in Perfect Game, as well as No. 1 ranking in the region and state of North Carolina. Considine has recruited standout athletes, and helped teams succeed through strategic planning, motivating players and building community support. He focuses on teaching strong fundamentals, sportsmanship, and leadership. Off the field, he mentors players on character, work ethic, and personal growth.
Before discovering his passion for coaching, Considine was a Combat Veteran in the U.S. Army, serving as a Squad Leader and a Crew Chief on AH-64D Apache Helicopters in the 82nd Airborne Division out of Fayetteville, NC. He completed tours in Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, and has been highly decorated for his courage, decision-making abilities and leadership. This experience shaped his coaching philosophy of instilling discipline, resilience and teamwork.
With over 15 years of combined military and coaching experience, Considine is dedicated to helping every player and team reach their full potential. His commitment, strategic skills, and mentorship have made a lasting impact on individuals and programs alike.
Considine, who earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SNHU, currently lives in Groton, Mass., with his wife, Jojo, and son, Jordan. Family is very important to him and he enjoys spending time with them when he is not on the baseball field.
