Sean Clancey
Goalkeeper Coach
Sean Clancy joins the Maryville soccer coaching staff for the 2019 season. He will be in charge of the goalkeepers and also handle scouting and travel duties for the team.
Clancy spent the 2018 season as a goalkeeper of Vrigstad IF in Sweden, which is a Division IV team in the club ranks. Prior to his stop overseas, he played a year at both the University of Missouri-Kansas City and at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Clancy earned his degree in chemistry from UMKC while playing overseas last season.
Clancy played his high school soccer at Rockwood Summit High School, where he graduated in 2013. He is currently an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach at his alma mater.
