Sean Repay

Sean Repay was born in Highland, Indiana, and played his college ball at Division III Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. After graduating from Loras College in 2008, Sean went to play Indy ball as a pitcher with the Desert Valley Mountain Lions of the Continental League. He also had stints in the North American League with the Lake County Fielders in 2010 and the McAllen Thunder in 2011.

After Sean’s playing career, he became the pitching coach at Division II Dominican College in New York. During the 2013 season, he became an associate scout with the Baltimore Orioles organization while coaching at University of Antelope Valley in California. Repay has coached at every level of college baseball during his career. Sean’s first stint as a professional manager came in the Pecos League in 2014 with the Bisbee Blue. His Indy ball journey continued as the bullpen coach for the Gary Southshore Railcats of the American Association in 2015 and as the pitching coach for the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League in 2016.

In 2017, Repay accepted the managerial job for the Bismarck Larks of the Northwoods League. In his three seasons, he accumulated 100 wins, had 8 MLB draft picks, and 20 players moved on to play professional baseball. During the 2018 season, the Larks won the North Division Championship and hosted the organizations first ever playoff game. Repay was also the 2018 North Division All-Star Game Manager. In addition, he helped the Larks take home the 2017 and 2018 Northwoods League Organization of the Year Award. During the 2020-2021 college season, Sean led Dawson Community College in Glendive, Montana, to its first NJCAA regional in 12 years, winning their first regional game in over 17 years. He even set the record for most conference wins at 15. Most recently, Sean was with Division I Coppin State as their Associate Head Coach. He helped the Eagles win a 2022 MEAC championship and their first NCAA Division I Regional Appearance in Coppin State history.

Sean is married to his lovely wife, Hope. They share three children: Nadia (13), Maddux (10), and Rae (5). Sean and his family lived in Montana from 2020-2021, when he led the Dawson Community College baseball program in Glendive. The family could not be more excited to return to Montana. Sean is also fluent in Spanish, and his baseball career has led him to spend time in 40 out of the 50 states. The Voyagers organization could not be more excited to have Sean Repay take over as manager and director of baseball operations for the club beginning in 2024 and for many years to come.
