Born in Medellin, Colombia. Sebastian became part of the best academy in the country; Envigado F.C. from age 4 to 10 years old where he learned his foundations and fundamentals of the game.

Moved to the US in 1997 where he played for Winter Park High School, for CFU ( leagues & tournaments), and transition on to UCF as a soccer player and student for a season in 2007.

Sebastian then moved to Boca Raton where he pursued a B.S. in Sports Management in 2013.

In 2016 Sebastian started to complete the US Soccer coaching courses. Currently holding a US Soccer C license along with other completed physical education courses abroad in El Inder (institute of sports and recreation) located in Medellin, Colombia.

As a director, Sebastian has establish relationships with various large and small businesses to create a networking base for the Academy. Provided community outreach, represented the brand and helped market The R9 Academy in the Central Florida Area. Partnered with OCPS to bring soccer and fitness to schools and give back to the community. Oversee all programs, operations and events. Oversee sales, marketing and public relations with the local media. Created the company Policy Handbook for the Orlando Franchise along with presentations and contracts to conduct business. Conducted meetings with sponsors to close opportunities and maintain existing commitments. Responsible for the on-boarding process, training employees, coordinating with the marketing team, the coaching and sales staff to insure we met the goals set in the annual budget meeting.
