Texas State University Men's Golf Head Coach
Coach Howell has led Texas State men's golf for nearly two decades, guiding the Bobcats through three conference affiliations and to consistent postseason success.
In 2024-25, he coached Sakke Siltala to become the first TXST men's golfer to qualify for the NCAA Division I National Championships. His program has produced multiple Sun Belt Conference individual champions, three team tournament titles in 2022-23 alone, and regular top-five finishes. Before Texas State, he served as an assistant coach at the University of Virginia and earned Division II Junior College All-American honors as a player.
