Shane Young
Camp Director
Shane Young Better known as “Sugar Shane” from Nashville, Tennessee, hold a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Sociology from Tennessee State University and master’s degree in Education from Greenville University. He has been working with Elite Hoops since 2012. Previously working as Skills Director and now Director at EHB Murfreesboro. Shane Young served under Mentor Drew Maddux as assistant coach at CPA, and has worked several basketball camps, clinics, and 3x3 leagues during his time with Nike Elite Hoops.
Coach Young has coached Juco Men’s Basketball, Travel basketball, and Women’s Basketball. Coach Young currently serves as Head Girls Basketball Coach at Siegel High School, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the camp community and he looks forward to serving and mentoring young athletes.
