Stacie Meisner
Camp Director
Stacie Meisner is the Head Volleyball Coach at MSU Denver.
Stacie Meisner was officially named the seventh head coach in MSU Denver volleyball program history on April 8, 2026, bringing a wealth of collegiate coaching experience and a proven track record of success to the Roadrunners.
Meisner enters her first season at the helm in 2026 after serving three seasons as a head coach at the NCAA Division II level, most recently leading the University of Alaska Anchorage program from 2023-26. During her tenure, she guided the Seawolves to a GNAC Championship in 2025, earning Great Northwest Athletic Conference Coach of the Year honors while leading her team to an NCAA Tournament appearance.
Prior to becoming head coach, Meisner spent five seasons on the Alaska Anchorage staff in a variety of roles, including associate head coach and assistant coach. During that time, she helped build a consistent contender in the GNAC, contributing to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances (2019, 2021, 2022, 2025) and a conference championship in 2022. Across her time on staff, Meisner played a key role in developing All-American and all-conference talent while helping shape the program’s culture and identity.
In addition to her on-court success, Meisner brings extensive experience in all aspects of program management, including recruiting, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance. She has also directed summer camps that generated significant revenue while providing development opportunities for young athletes, and she has a strong background in mentoring assistant coaches and building cohesive, values-driven team environments.
Before her collegiate coaching career, Meisner served as Executive Director of the Anchorage Sports Association, overseeing operations for multiple sports programs with more than 4,000 annual participants. She also founded and directed a youth volleyball club, expanding access to the sport and creating opportunities for athletes of all backgrounds.
As a student-athlete, Meisner brings championship experience to the sideline. She was a member of a 2007 NJCAA National Championship team and a 2009 GNAC Championship team at Alaska Anchorage, where she served as a team captain and earned all-conference honors.
Known for her commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court, Meisner emphasizes academic success, community engagement, and building a strong team culture. She now takes over an MSU Denver program coming off a national championship season, aiming to continue the Roadrunners’ tradition of excellence as she begins her first year leading the program in 2026.
