Stephanie Anderson Monmouth University Lacrosse

Former Hawk standout Stephanie Anderson joined the Monmouth coaching staff in August of 2014. She was promoted to top assistant after Eileen Ghent took over the program in August of 2015.

Anderson will work primarily with the Monmouth attack while heading up the MU recruiting efforts.

Anderson transferred to Monmouth prior to the 2014 season, finished first on the team in scoring with 26 goals and second in points with 28 from her attack position. The Rutgers transfer appeared in 17 of Monmouth’s 18 games while leading the team in free position goals. Anderson was a pivotal piece to the Blue & White’s first year in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, earning All-MAAC Tournament honors. Academically, she was named to the IWLCA Academic All-Honor Roll and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in School Counseling.

Anderson was an All-Big East lacrosse player at Rutgers where she tallied 66 goals and 77 points. She was a prep star for Shoreham-Wading River High School in New York, leading her squad to three consecutive state championships and earning All-America honors. She was chosen to play in the Under Armor All-American Classic, where she was named Most Valuable Player. Anderson played club lacrosse for the Long Island Express and graduated from Rutgers in 2013 with a degree in Sociology while minoring education and public health.
