Tamia Dockery

Tamia Dockery is an Assistant Coach at the University of New Orleans.
Tamia Dockery was hired to join the New Orleans Volleyball staff ahead of the 2023 season. The hire was officially announced in July 2023.
Dockery played four years at Howard and graduated in 2019. In her time with the Bison, Dockery was a part of four MEAC championship teams. She was a team captain her last two years and earned MEAC Player of the Year in her final season (2018). In 2019 Dockery competed in the U.S. Women’s National Team Open Volleyball tryouts at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Dockery remained with her alma mater through 2022. She was a graduate assistant on the 2019 squad which also won a conference title. She also worked with setters as a training specialist through the summer of '22.
