Tatyhana Blaise

Tatyhana Blaise began her athletic journey at Oakland Community College in Michigan before transferring to Wayne State University, where she excelled on the basketball court for four years. After college, a colleague inspired her to explore women’s tackle football, sparking an impressive career. As a running back for the WFA’s Detroit Dark Angels, Tatyhana racked up over 4,000 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns, including a standout season with more than 2,300 rushing yards.

After the pandemic, Tatyhana discovered her true passion for flag football, leading her to Atlanta—a vibrant hub for competitive play. Since then, she has dominated the field, capturing numerous championships in both women’s and coed PRO 5v5 divisions. Tatyhana is a 4-time Champion at USA Football, a 15-time USA Flag Champion, and a 21-time Weekend Warrior Tournaments World Champion!

Today, she proudly represents the U.S. internationally as a defensive captain on the WFFN Team America Women’s Flag Football Team, boasting an impressive record of 4 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, and 1 Bronze Medal from international club championships in China, Spain, Amsterdam, Mexico, Panama, and Thailand. Additionally, she has showcased her skills playing professionally for teams in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

In addition to her playing career, Tatyhana has partnered with TrailblazHER as an official sponsored athlete. She focuses on Strategic Partnerships and coaches at Crucial Flag Football club in Atlanta, GA. Tatyhana is dedicated to empowering women in high-level flag football and is actively pursuing a spot on the U.S. Women’s National Flag Football Team.

Now, Tatyhana serves as the Head Coach of The Lovett School's inaugural Flag Football program! With her extensive experience in both tackle and flag football, she is poised to lead grassroots initiatives that shape and grow the game. Tatyhana’s leadership, experience, and unwavering passion for the sport promise to create an enriching experience for student-athletes in Atlanta and beyond.
