Taylor Sheriff

Tayler Sheriff enters his first year as a graduate assistant coach for the Golden Eagles. Sheriff will assist with the Spalding pitching staff along with all recruiting efforts.
Sheriff comes from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he spent one year as a volunteer assistant for the Crimson Hawks. Sheriff got his coaching career starting at his scholastic alma mater, United, after a shoulder injury ended his playing career at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
He then jumped into the collegiate summer league ranks and has served as head coach in the AAABA (All-American Amateur Baseball Association) in Johnstown, PA with Paul Carpenter's Capital Advisors. During his time as head coach in Johnstown, he saw his team reach two consecutive AAABA National Tournament Championship games (2016, 2017), which was the first time in 73 years that a Johnstown franchise has accomplished this feat.
Sheriff also made a one year stop at Penn State-New Kensington where he served as the top assistant.
Sheriff graduated from IUP with a bachelors in Sport Administration, a minor in Business along with a certificate in coaching.
