Tayo Gem

Tayo is the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Multnomah University. He was born and raised in Portland, OR and graduated from David Douglas high school. He continued his academic and basketball career at Western Oregon University (D2) as a redshirt. He then transferred to Cascade College (NAIA) and later graduated with a bachelor’s degree.

Tayo has 14 years of coaching and player development experience at the AAU, high school, college, and professional level. His desire for coaching comes from the love of basketball and the passion of having a positive impact on young people, helping them reach their full potential both on and off the court.
