Lead Coach

Teddy Morse - Lead Coach

Teddy Morse is the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Kentucky Wesleyan University and serves as a lead coach at Next Athletes’ Nike Tennis Camps.

Teddy Morse is in his first season as Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College in 2026.

"I am very excited about the opportunity to be a part of the amazing academic, social, and athletic setting here at KWC," Morse said. "I have no doubt, with our facilities and the support from the administration, that we can recruit at a high level and compete year in and year out in a very tough tennis conference. Go Panthers!"

The hire was officially announced by Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Jason Vittone on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025. Morse is the fifth head coach in program history.

"We are excited to welcome Teddy Morse as the new head coach of our men's and women's tennis programs at Kentucky Wesleyan College," Vittone said. "Teddy brings a passion for player development, a strong commitment to academic and athletic excellence, and a vision for building a competitive culture. We are confident that under his leadership, our tennis programs will reach new heights on and off the court."

Morse last coached at Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan. Prior to his time at Adrian, Morse was a high school tennis coach, with stops at Toledo Waite High School, Sylvania Southview High School, and Maumee High School. He was named Northwest Ohio Coach of the Year in 2016 and won two Toledo City league championships.

Morse attended the University of Toledo, earning his Bachelor of Arts in social work. He played high school tennis at Perrysburg High School and was a multiple-time district qualifier.
