Terrence Metcalf

Terrence Metcalf is a Mississippi native of Clarksdale, MS.

Terrence Metcalf focuses on developing athletic skills with a coaching style that emphasizes fundamental technique and mental strength to sharpen a players’ competitive edge.

Metcalf was drafted in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft. After spending seven seasons with the Chicago Bears where he competed in the Superbowl, Metcalf closed his NFL career in 2010 with the New Orleans Saints.

Since then, he has had a successful career in sports management, talent recruitment, and athletic training. Metcalf’s coaching career started with the Oxford MS, Buccaneers in 2011, Oxford Middle School in 2012-2013 and Oxford high from 2013-2016 throughout that time he coached the offensive and defensive linemen. He then moved on to coaching at Pearl River Community College, where he served in the roll as Offensive Line Coach/Recruiting Coordinator 2016-18. Metcalf was promoted to Assistant Head Coach/ Co-Offensive Coordinator 2018-2019.

He was a member of the Ole Miss Rebel Football Team from 1997 to 2001. He was a first team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) selection in 2000 and 2001, received second-team All-American honors in 1999, Freshman All-American in 1997, He was selected the 2001 SEC Most Valuable Lineman and was recognized as a consensus first-team All-American in 2001. Terrence was inducted in The Clarksdale, MS Hall of Fame in 2013, The Class of 2017 SEC Legends and inducted in the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame for the Class of 2021.

Metcalf is the Co-Owner of TT Metcalf Sports Management and The Metcalf Family Foundation.

Metcalf attended The University of Mississippi where he graduated from the School of Business Administration with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. He graduated from William Carey University with a Master’s in Interscholastic Athletic Administration.
