Tim Mayotte was one of the greatest American players of the 1980’s and early 1990’’s. Since then he has turned his attention to coaching becoming one of the most legendary teachers in America.
As a pro, he was ranked ATP Top Ten for four years scoring wins over all the greats of his era including Agassi, Sampras, Connors, Edberg, Becker etc. Mayotte was a Silver Medalist in the 1988 Olympics and reached the semi-finals of both Wimbledon and the Australian Opens. As a coach, he was recently recognized by Tennis Magazine as “A Hero of the Game,” for his contributions to teaching. He had coached numerous top nationally ranked junior players. He has worked closely with the Harvard and Stanford Men’s Teams.
