Tim Montez
Camp Director
Tim Montez was named the first coach in OUAZ baseball history in early 2017.
In his first season, he led the baseball program to the NCCAA World Series in Easley, S,C. Now in his third year, Coach Montez has started a Developmental Program (Fall 2019) and this season (2020) the Varsity Program will be eligible to participate in the GSAC Conference Tournament for the first time. A graduate from St. Paul High School (Sante Fe Springs, Calif.) (1979), Coach Montez also played & graduated from Pepperdine University (Malibu, Calif.) (1984). Montez and his lovely wife Darleen reside in Surprise and together have three boys (David, Ryan and Adam) and a daughter (Amy) with five beautiful grandkids.
