Tom Carmean
Assistant Director
Coach Carmean is native of Ithaca, NY and now resides in Western Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts where he received a B.A. in English and Master’s in Education. As a player at UMass Amherst, Tom was a 3x All American.
Tom enjoyed a 20-year career as a Division III head lacrosse coach, first at Amherst College and then more recently at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. He has also coached in the professional ranks, spending three seasons as the offensive coordinator for the Charlotte Hounds, runners-up in the 2013 Major League Lacrosse playoffs. In addition to coaching, Tom enjoyed an 11-season professional lacrosse career that included five All-Pro seasons. He is currently the Associate Head Coach at Keene State College.
In 2007, Carmean received accolades in an article where he was listed as one of the three best American-born attackmen to have ever played the game.
