Tommy Faiella
Assistant Coach

Tom Faiella enters his second season as an assistant coach on the Marlin’s Lacrosse staff.
In the 2024 season, Faiella helped lead a young team to a 5-11 record, 2-7 in ODAC, with a young roster composed of Ben Andrews who led the team in goals and Liam Murphy who was second on the team in points.
A native of Lorton, VA (South County HS/Top Caliber), Faiella is a former player and Virginia Wesleyan University Class of 2020 Alumni. As a player, Faiella’s time at VWU was marred by injuries over his first three seasons, giving two torn Achilles, a torn ACL, and a broken jaw for the Marlins. After a COVID-shortened season, Faiella returned as a starter during his graduate year and turned in an admirable campaign registering 23 pts on 14 goals and 9 assists. For his efforts, Faiella was recognized by the University with the 2022 Elaine F. Sears Courage Award.
While at Virginia Wesleyan, Faiella majored in Political Science before obtaining his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). Faiella currently resides in Ocean View with his roommate, Coach Sam Jones.
