Tommy Verga attended William Floyd High School where he was a 4-year member of the varsity baseball team and 2 year member of the varsity football team. In baseball, he was a 2x All League recipient, All County Recipient, Axcess Baseball Pre-Season All Long Island member, and the recipient of the Suffolk County Gold Glove award at 3B.
In football, he received All County and All Long Island honors. Following high school, he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he was a 4 year Division 1 baseball player while graduating with a 3.7 GPA. For the Knights he hit 11 career home runs at the division 1 level. In the Summers, I was named to the All-Star team playing in the Hamptons Collegiate league.
