Tony Galeano
Assistant Coach
Tony is currently an elementary PE teacher at Benjamin Banneker in St. Mary’s County.
He is also the head coach at Prince George’s CC (2018-present). From 2002-2017 he coached at the College of Southern Maryland, coaching men for 16 and women for 2 years. During this time at CSM, the men’s team was a top 15 nationally ranked program, winning 10 titles between both men and women. Tony was named coach of the year 7 times. He had 16 All-Americans and 7 players play professionally.
In recent years he was the director of coaching for Waldorf Soccer Club from 2016-2018 and was the director of coaching for St. Mary’s Soccer Club from 2014-2016.
From 2010-2014 he was a part of the coaching staff for the youth development program for Bethesda Soccer Club, spending a lot of time building a futsal program with two USA futsal national titles and many state and regional champion teams.
As a player, he played in the USL Professional League and played college at Wingate University in N.C. He played pro futsal with Sporting Md Futsal Club, finishing 3rd in the Gold Cup in Portugal in 2008.
