Tracy Hamm

Tracy Hamm is in her first year coach at St. Ignatius and directing the Nike Soccer Camp, but brings a wealth of knowledge to San Francisco soccer players.

Tracy played both college and professional soccer, and is currently a very accomplished coach at the college level.

Tracy has been the head coach at San Francisco State University since January 2015. She has compiled a 26-19-9 overall record and led the Gators to three consecutive winning seasons. Prior to SFSU, Tracy coached at Santa Rosa Junior College for three season and led the Bear Cubs to an overall record of 43-16-5 and a Big 8 Conference Title in 2012.

Additionally, Tracy was an assistant coach for the women’s soccer program at Cal in 2009.

Tracy played collegiately at Cal from 2002-2006 where she was named Cal’s Freshman of the Year (2002), Soccer America Freshman of the Year (2002), and Team Captain (2004-05). Additionally, she was named to the Pac-10 All-Conference Team (2004-05) and Pac-10 All-Academic Team (2003-05). As a freshman, she led the team with 9 goals and eventually settled as a defender for the Bears where she started every game her final two seasons. Tracy also played professional soccer for 2 years in the

Women’s Professional Soccer League for the Atlanta Beat.

While at Cal, Tracy earned her BA in Mass Communications (2006) and two master’s degrees -- an

ED.M in Counseling in Sports Psychology from Boston University (2011) and MA in Coaching and

Athletic Administration from Concordia Irvine (2014).

In 2016, Hamm earned her UEFA ‘B’ Coaching License from the Welsh FA and in 2017, she earned her USSF ‘B’ Coaching License from the US Soccer Federation. In 2018, Tracy earned her UEFA ‘A’ License.
