Coach Profile
Director
Troy Steffy

Steffy’s baseball resume is extensive. The native of Lancaster County has served the game he loves as a scout for three different Major League organizations (Houston, Toronto and Tampa Bay), with USA Baseball as a scout and coach, and the Vice President of Baseball Operations for Americas Baseball Camps. Steffy has certifications in arm care, USA Baseball as a Level C coach and sports biomechanics among other fields and has trained athletes at the college and professional levels.
At one point, he even served as a player agent. For six years, Steffy filled a role as the Director of Sports Performance at Parisi Speed School in the Universal Athletic Club on Oregon Pike. From there, he served as the Director of Baseball Operations at Spooky Nook Sports for another six years. It was there that he developed a friendship with Ross Peeples and the opportunity to coach first base for the Barnstormers on a full-time basis. That led to the job becoming permanent for the 2019 season as the Director of Baseball Operations and Bench Coach. He works with management on overseeing the operations of the clubhouse and field. In addition, Steffy coordinates all youth baseball programs, including camps, at Clipper Magazine Stadium and is the president of the Jr. Barnstormers travel baseball program.
