Will Munley

Will Munley is a PGA certified instructor and serves as Camp Director for the Nike Junior Golf Camps at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.

My name is Will Munley and I am extremely excited to join John Blair as the newest instructor of John Blair teaching academy at Chicopee Woods golf course! I was born in Greenville, South Carolina and have been in the golf industry and teaching since 2014. I played lacrosse and golf in college at Tennessee Wesleyan University and at the Golf Academy of America, Myrtle Beach campus, where I hold many awards and accolades in lacrosse and a National Title run in golf. I was the Stan Harrison award winner for most valuable male athlete at Tennessee Wesleyan university. I also have played in a multitude of mini tour events and qualifiers after college.

Coming to Chicopee Woods as an instructor formerly from The Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy in Orlando Florida which is arguably one of the top ranked junior programs in the world. Gary is one of the top instructors in the sport and has been given the honor as the 2020 Olympic Hong Kong men’s and women’s head coach. He has also taught five #1 women in world on the LPGA, and countless more on top of that over the years.

Under Gary I have been blessed to have taught and assisted countless amounts of the top junior/high school, college and tour professionals in the country. These skills I have acquired through lessons has given me the ability to create a phenomenal teaching philosophy. With these tools I have the ability to teach the game from juniors to the weekend golfer all the way up to the tour pros.

My goal is to become the best instructor not only in the area but also the state and I hold passion and pride in my game plans in training including: drills/on course strategy, mental and physical training. I truly believe these things help create a top tier golfer at any level.

I design and create a game plan for everyone specifically, that focus on their goals as well as improving areas within their game.

The experiences I have had throughout my athletic career has given me an abundance of knowledge that I cannot wait to share with the community at Chicopee Woods.
