Xavier Worthy was named first-team All-Big 12 conference as a wide receiver for the Texas Longhorns.
Worthy claimed Freshman All-American honors from ESPN. Worthy was also named Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and AP Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. Xavier had an incredible freshman season with 62 receptions, 981 yards receiving, and 12 touchdowns. Worthy’s highlight of the season came in the Red River Show Showdown against Oklahoma, where he hauled in nine receptions for 261 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. Worthy was a four-star recruit out of Fresno, California. Worthy is excited to work with the wide receivers at the Nike Skills Football Camp in Dallas.
