Nike Cross Country Camps is excited to return to the University of Puget Sound in 2026! Register today and enjoy elite-level training while making memories to last a lifetime. The camp offers a unique opportunity to train under the direction of college coaches and current and former collegiate athletes who serve as counselors. The camp is open to athletes ages 10-17.
Overnight Camp
Our overnight camp at Puget Sound offers an immersive, on-campus experience where campers reside in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the camp staff while training during the daytime hours. The tuition includes housing, meals, fun evening activities, as well as college recruiting seminars on Tuesday evening (parents are encouraged to attend the seminars!).
Day Camp (9:00am – 4:00pm)
Nike XC Camps also offers a summer day camp program for athletes who do not wish to stay overnight. This program runs 9:00am-4:00pm each day and includes daytime training only. Campers can bring their own lunch or purchase on campus.
Nike Sports Camp Experience
At University of Puget Sound, Nike Sports Camps offers a unique experience with many sports (Cross Country, Football, Softball, Swim, Tennis, and Track & Field) operating simultaneously. During the day, the athletes receive sport-specific coaching within their sport focus. In the evening, overnight campers across all sports come together for a special camp-wide experience which includes fun field games, educational seminars, and more.
The Nike Cross Country Camp at University of Puget Sound is open to any and all entrants and limited only by number, age and gender. Athletic facilities and coaches are subject to change. The camp is not owned, sponsored, controlled or endorsed by University of Puget Sound.

Cross Country Director Kyle Will
Kyle Will is the director of Bushnell University Track & Field. Coach Will serves as track & field director for Next Athletes and the Nike Track & Field Camps at Westminster University and Boise State University.

Site Director Kayla Neff
Kayla Neff serves as site director for Next Athletes (operators of Nike Sports Camps) and is currently an assistant coach for Biola University Softball. Kayla is the main point of contact for parents across all sports at camp.

Assistant Site Director Payton Brown
Payton Brown serves as an assistant site director for Next Athletes and Nike Sports Camps. Payton is currently a Division II baseball coach at Adams State University and is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration. Payton supports all sports and serves as an additional contact for camp families.

GENERAL CAMP INFO:
- Camp Dates: July 27-30, Aug. 3-6, 2026 (Mon-Thurs)
- Ages: 10-17
- Gender: Coed
- Options: Day Camp (9:00am-4:00pm) & Overnight Camp
- First Day Check-In: Please use the campus map if you have any questions.
- Overnight Campers: 7:30-8:00am at Anderson/Langdon Hall
- Day Campers: 8:15-8:45am for day campers at Anderson/Langdon Hall
- Orientation (All Campers): 8:45-9:00am at Anderson/Langdon Hall
- Last Day Check-Out: 4:00pm on Thursday at Anderson/Langdon Hall
- Meals: Meals are provided for overnight campers only. Day campers are required to bring their own lunch each day.
- Apparel: All campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
OVERNIGHT CAMP
The overnight program includes instruction, fun games and competitions for prizes, overnight accommodation, all meals, fun evening activities, and more. The camp staff resides in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the campers and provides supervision throughout the camp.
- Check-in: On the first day of camp, check-in will be between 7:30-8:00am.
- Check-in Location: Anderson/Langdon Hall
- Check out: On the last day of camp, check-out is at 4:00pm at Anderson/Langdon Hall.
- Meals: Day 1: Lunch, Dinner | Days 2-3: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Day 4: Breakfast, Lunch
Housing Information: The information below is based on previous years and is subject to change.
- Dorm: Anderson/Langdon Hall (Tentative)
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Bathrooms: Shared
- Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin XL) or a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
- Air Conditioning: None. The dormitories tend to stay cool with the mild nighttime temperatures. Campers are welcome to bring a small fan.
- Room Key Deposit: $50
DAY CAMP (9:00AM – 4:00PM)
This camp offers a day camp program for campers who do not wish to stay overnight. This option includes instruction and daytime activities only.
- Day Camper Drop-Off (Monday): 8:15-8:45am at Anderson/Langdon Hall
- Day Camper Drop-Off (Tue-Thurs): 8:45-9:00am at Anderson/Langdon Hall
- Day Camper Pick-Up (Every Day): 4:00pm at Anderson/Langdon Hall
- Parking: Parents can use any of the parking lots around Anderson/Langdon Hall for all drop-offs and pick-ups. Parking is free.
- Meals: Lunches are not provided for day campers.
PARENT/CAMPER SEMINARS
Both campers and parents are invited to join us for educational seminars on Tuesday evening. The location and schedule will be announced prior to camp. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a collegiate athlete, how to choose the right school, and more. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
DAY CAMPERS:
- Running or athletic shoes
- Extra athletic clothing
- 1-2 pairs of broken-in running shoes/event spikes
- Non-running shoes
- Packed lunch/snacks

- Small gym bag/backpack
- Any other appropriate clothing for that day’s activities which will be described to you on the first day of camp

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Sports Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.

CANCELLATION DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event a camp day is cancelled or camp hours are adjusted due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to provide make-up time. If make-up time is not possible, no refund will be issued for the first cancelled day or any shortened hours. If additional full days are cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, a pro-rated camp credit voucher will be issued for each cancelled day beyond the first.

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE
TEAM DISCOUNT: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. Please have a team contact reach out directly to the USSC office at 1-800-645-3226 to receive a discount code to identify your group. Campers may then register through the website at their convenience and apply the coupon code during check-out.

My child is new to the sport, do you accept athletes who are beginners in the sport?
We bring the best out of campers of all skill levels. All we require is a positive attitude.
Does the Health & Release Form need to be signed by a doctor?
Our Health & Release Form does not require a doctor’s signature. This form is required to be filled out accurately, and completed online prior to camp arrival.
