Nike Football Skills Summer Camp can't wait for an unparalleled experience in athlete development at the University of South Florida. Over four dynamic days, participants will have the unique opportunity to learn from top-tier coaches, engage in specialized training, and gain insights into the life of an elite athlete. From honing football skills to cultivating a holistic approach to personal development, this camp goes beyond the ordinary. This camp is educational in nature and will focus entirely on skill development, speed, agility, game awareness and position-specific training. This is not a recruitment/prospect camp and is not affiliate with the USF Football program.

    Fred Hicks III

    Camp Director

    Fred Hicks III, a Thonotosassa, FL native, excelled at defensive line at Armwood High School before heading to East Carolina University. Initially recruited as a defensive lineman, he later switched and made an impact on the offensive line at the center position where he had the privilege to block for Chris Johnson, who was a NFL Superstar with the Tennessee Titans.

    After college he played 3 years in the IFL with the Wichita Wild and reached the conference championship twice. He has coached high school football for 14 years, coaching in both Virginia and Florida and is currently the Head football Coach at Pasco High School located in Dade City, FL. He has a beautiful wife and is a father of 5 wonderful kids

    Beast 'Em Sports has been operating for over 7 years, which was co-founder by longtime coach AJ "Coach Beast" Stephens and La' Toya Bentick. While sticking to their mission of "teaching life lessons through sports", Beast 'Em has been successfully offering and operating camps, clinics, training sessions, and AAU for many years. Beast 'Em is a staple organization in New England. We offer programs for boys and girls, from ages 5-18.

Camp Details

Instruction will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, team play, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

CAMP INFORMATION

  • Age Group: 8-13
  • Gender: Coed
  • Camp Type: Day Camp
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm
  • Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to camp start time
  • Lunch: Lunch will not be provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.

CAMP ADDRESS

FIRST DAY OF CAMP

Park in Lot 48 and walk over (see map attached). The check-in process will start no earlier than 8:30am. Check-in tables will be set up in front of the bathrooms (there will be signage posted). All campers MUST be accompanied by an adult during the check-in process. During this time, families will meet staff, campers will receive their camp t-shirts and other giveaways, chance to speak with our healthcare specialist and answer any questions you have.

DAILY DROP OFF & PICK UP INFORMATION

After day 1, campers can get dropped off at their sport field. Coaches will greet them and take attendance as they arrive. Drop off starts no earlier than 8:45am. Per USF request, pick up will be in Lot 48. Directors and Coaches will walk the athletes over to lot 48 to meet you. Pick up is at 3:00pm SHARP!

CAMP STORE The camp store has snacks and drinks for purchase and pizza available for preorder for lunch. During the first break, staff will go around and take pizza orders for lunch.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Daily Football Instruction
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

  • Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. Please note that US Sports Camps does NOT provide equipment and is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
