Improve your game and have serious fun
at Nike Football Skills Camps

This non-contact football skills development camp will focus on building the athlete and teaching basic fundamentals of the game. Coaches on staff will focus on sound technique, footwork, attitude, and effort. Chaz and his coaching staff will bring years of playing and coaching experience from all different levels of the game including Power 5 D1 football and NFL playing experience. Each camper will go through an evaluation period starting with combine testing and drills to determine what position is best fitting for everyone. Post evaluation each camper will have the chance to learn from experienced coaches and volunteers on position specifics to help elevate their game. Lastly, this camp will encourage a safe and enthusiastic environment for all campers no matter what playing experience they have.

    Camp Director

    Chaz Sutton was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, where he distinguished himself as an exceptional high school athlete, earning more than 30 Division I football scholarship offers. He signed with the University of South Carolina and played 4.5 years under legendary coach Steve Spurrier. Following college, Chaz played professionally for two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tennessee Titans.

    After his playing career, Chaz transitioned into coaching and mentoring, helping develop and recruit multiple high school athletes who went on to play Division I football. He currently works in the maritime industry as a Senior Lead in transportation logistics. Outside of work, Chaz enjoys spending time with his family, gaming, traveling, and exploring new experiences

    Robert D. DeLoach Jr. is a distinguished U.S. Air Force veteran, business leader, executive director, and community advocate dedicated to empowering others through mentorship, leadership, and opportunity. Currently serving as a manager at a major manufacturing organization in Savannah, Georgia, Robert brings a wealth of operational expertise, strategic vision, and people-centered leadership to his industry.

    Beyond his corporate career, Robert has made a significant impact as the founder and leader of multiple initiatives focused on personal development, travel, and athletic advancement. Through TravelDad Express (www.traveldadexpress.com), he shares his passion for travel while helping families and student-athletes create meaningful, memorable experiences throughout their collegiate journeys.

    Robert is also the founder and executive director of The Factory 2.0, an organization dedicated to personal development, education, and mentorship. This platform extends his commitment to shaping well-rounded individuals by emphasizing discipline, accountability, resilience, and lifelong learning beyond athletics.

    In addition, Robert plays a key leadership role at The Factory, a premier sports performance and conditioning program. Through his guidance and mentorship, countless student-athletes have earned full athletic scholarships at colleges and universities nationwide. His work focuses on developing not only elite athletic performance, but also character, leadership, and preparation for life beyond sports.

    Equally important to Robert is his role as a devoted father. He has instilled values of hard work, perseverance, and excellence in his three children, all of whom have achieved success at the collegiate and professional levels. His daughter, Taylor DeLoach, was a standout track athlete at The Ohio State University. His son, Kalen DeLoach, excelled as a linebacker at Florida State University and currently plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars. His youngest son, Jalen DeLoach, continues the family’s athletic legacy as a basketball player at Loyola University Chicago.

    Through his leadership in business, athletics, and the community, Robert D. DeLoach Jr. remains committed to creating pathways for success and making a lasting impact—whether in the corporate world, mentoring young leaders, supporting student-athletes, or strengthening families and communities.

    Coach DeAngelo Brown is a Savannah native and former collegiate and professional football athlete with a passion for developing young players both on and off the field. DeAngelo played high school football in Savannah before earning a scholarship to the University of Louisville, where he became a two-time All-ACC selection as a junior and senior.

    Following his college career, DeAngelo signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent, gaining valuable experience at the professional level.

    Today, DeAngelo is a strength and defensive line coach for middle and high school athletes in the Savannah area

  • Anthony Lanier

    Anthony Lanier II

    Camp Coach

    Anthony M. Lanier, II (born May 8, 1993) is an American football defensive end for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Alabama A&M University and was signed by the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2016. After going unselected in the 2016 NFL Draft, Lanier signed with the Washington Redskins on May 6, 2016. Standing out in training camp and the preseason, the team announced he made the 53-man roster on September 3, 2016. In his NFL debut in Week 8, Lanier recovered a fumble forced by Chris Baker on Bengals’ quarterback Andy Dalton. He was placed on injured reserve on December 13, 2016.

    Lanier was inactive for the first six games of 2017. In Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints, he recorded first career sack on Drew Brees. He would have a breakout performance in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals recording two sacks, three pass deflections, and a forced fumble. On September 3, 2018, the Redskins waived/injured Lanier. He went unclaimed in the waiver stage and reverted to the team’s injured reserve list before being waived with an injury settlement on September 8.

    On November 7, 2018, Lanier was signed to the Los Angeles Chargers practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster on December 20, 2018.

    On August 31, 2019, Lanier was waived by the Chargers and signed to the practice squad the next day. His practice squad contract with the team expired on January 6, 2020.

    On January 8, 2020, Lanier signed a reserve/future contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was waived on April 28, 2020.

    Lanier had a tryout with the Detroit Lions on August 19, 2020.

    Lanier was signed by the New Orleans Saints on August 29, 2020. He was placed on injured reserve on September 5, 2020 and waived with an injury settlement on September 11.

    Lanier signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL on March 2, 2021 and has remained with the Roughriders until his contract ended December 2022. Lanier was the CFL Top Performer of the Week and led the league in QB pressures. He made the CFL All-Pro Team for Defense 2022.

    Lanier’s nonprofit organization, Undefeated Warrior the Anthony M Lanier II Foundation, Inc. provides support to community-based organizations to promote education, good health, and the development of character, social skills and values that will empower youth in Savannah to recognize and reach their full potential. Undefeated Warrior AML2F hosts an annual summer youth football camp and a Thanksgiving Turkey & Food drive.

    As a result of his love for his community and consistently giving back, Lanier was honored as a Hometown Hero by WTOC News, Weather, and Sports Savannah, GA.

    July 1st was declared “Anthony M. Lanier, II Day” in his hometown Savannah, Georgia by former mayor Eddie Deloach.

    Lanier was also given a key to the city by the current mayor of Savannah Van Johnson, III.

Camp Details

Instruction will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, team play, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2026 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

  • Dates: June 8-10, 2026
  • Age Group: 8-13
  • Camp Type: Day Camp
  • Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, 9:00am-4:00pm
  • Check-In: Begins 30 minutes before the camp start time.
  • Meals: Lunch will not be provided. Please bring your own snack/lunch to camp each day.

  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Offensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Hand-Eye Coordination, Ball Handling and Position, Passing Drills, Catching Drills, Proper Grip and Throwing, Running Routes
  • Defensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Explanation of Defenses (Zone/Man-to-Man), Footwork
  • Teamwork, Concussion Safety, Nutrition
  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

  • Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
