Camp Overview

Improve your game and have serious fun
at Nike Football Skills Camps

Take your game to the next level this summer at the Nike Football Skills Camp at Olentangy High School—a high-energy, non-contact camp built for athletes who want to sharpen their skills, grow their confidence, and have a blast doing it.

Led by a Columbus native, former Bowling Green State University linebacker, and current professional football official with experience in the Big Ten, XFL, and UFL, this camp brings a unique blend of skill development and fun. Campers will learn the “how” and the “why” behind great football—building strong fundamentals while improving decision-making and understanding of the game.

Throughout the week, athletes will train in a fun, supportive environment that emphasizes:

  • Offensive & defensive skill development (position-specific instruction included)
  • Fundamental technique work: footwork, body control, ball skills, tackling form (no contact), and more
  • Football IQ & situational concepts to help athletes play faster and smarter
  • Competition-based drills, challenges, and games designed to keep energy high and skills improving

This is a co-ed camp for ages 7–14 (incoming 3rd–8th graders) and is open to all ability levels. Campers will be evaluated and grouped by age and skill level for most drills and gameplay to ensure a safe, positive, and competitive experience for everyone.

Whether your athlete is newer to the game or looking to build on years of experience, they’ll leave camp with better technique, more confidence, and a stronger understanding of football—all while making great summer memories at Olentangy High School.
