Nike Football Skills Camps
Nike Football Camps is thrilled to bring an unforgettable week of football action to Corvallis, Oregon, with Director Jaleel Kindell. A dedicated member of the Oregon Football Coaching staff, Kindell, alongside skilled coaches and players, is excited to lead athletes through a dynamic and rewarding camp experience.
This unique opportunity allows football players of all skill levels to train in world-class facilities and receive expert coaching. The Non-Contact Youth Football Camp is designed to teach young athletes fundamental skills, enhance athletic performance, and foster teamwork. Led by former collegiate athletes, the camp will feature skill-building drills, football education, and team focused activities. Emphasis will be placed on agility, footwork, passing, catching, and football IQ, all within a safe, non-contact environment.
In addition to football training, campers will engage in team-building exercises that promote leadership and collaboration. This camp is open to athletes of all skill levels, and our team will guide campers in achieving their personal goals through position-specific drills, strength building exercises, and exciting football competitions aimed at challenging and improving their game.
Camp is open to boys who are entering 3rd-8th grade. Campers must be no younger than the age of 8, and no older than the age of 13 on the first day of camp.

Camp Director Jaleel Kindell
Jaleel Kindell is an offensive assistant for the Oregon Ducks Football team, working closely with the running backs. He began his coaching career at the high school level before moving to the college ranks, coaching running backs and serving as a defensive assistant at Willamette University.

CAMP DETAILS AND TIMES
Day Campers
- Day Camp Hours: Sunday 4:30pm - 6:00pm | Mon-Wed: 9:00am-4:00pm | Thursday 9:00am-11:30am
- Sunday Check-in & Pick-up: Sunday between 1:30pm-4:00pm at Cauthorn Hall. Camp will begin with an orientation followed by an assessment from 4:30pm-6:00pm. Campers should be dressed to play football. Please pick up your camper at 6:00 pm at Student Legacy Park West Field 3.
- Daily Check-in: 9:00am at the Student Legacy Park West Field 3.
- Daily Check-out: Sunday, 6:00pm. Monday – Wednesday, 4:00 pm; Thursday, 11:30am at Student Legacy Park West Field 3.
- Closing Ceremony: There will be a closing ceremony on Thursday starting at 11:30am on Student Legacy Park West Field 3. Parents are encouraged to attend. Departure immediately following the ceremony.
- Meals: Lunch is NOT provided for day campers. Please bring a packed lunch
- Extended Day Camp Hours: Sunday 4:30pm-9:00pm | Mon-Wed: 9:00am-9:00pm | Thursday: 9:00am-11:30am

HOUSING
Dorm: Cauthorn Hall
Campers Per Room: 2-3
Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual, If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age (if available). It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new
Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin) or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
Air Conditioning: No. Please bring a fan.
Room Key & Building Entry Card: There is no requirement for a deposit for the room key or building entry card. However, in the event that a camper loses one or both, a replacement fee will apply: $75.00 for the room key and $15.00 for the building entry card. These charges will be billed to the original form of payment.

- Meals & Housing: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided for overnight campers only. Extended Day Campers get dinner on Sunday night and lunch and dinner on Monday to Wednesday.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours. Staff members reside in rooms strategically placed throughout camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
EVENING ACTIVITIES
Evening activities, which are available to Overnight and Extended Day campers only subject to an additional fee, may include a pizza party, a talent show, magic show, camp dance, swimming or other surprise activities. Please be prepared to pay to via cash,
Venmo or credit card at check-in on Sunday at Check-in. The fee this year is $50.00.
INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
- Offensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Hand-Eye Coordination, Ball Handling and Position, Passing Drills, Catching Drills, Proper Grip and Throwing, Running Routes
- Defensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Explanation of Defenses (Zone/Man-to-Man), Footwork
Ratio: Low staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

HEAT PRECAUTIONS
Given the the potential for a rise in temperatures during their visit, we highly recommend that all campers take a few precautions:
- **Bring a Room Fan**: As a reminder, the buildings do not have air conditioning so having a personal room fan can greatly enhance your comfort.
- **Stay Hydrated**: Please remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Staying hydrated is crucial for maintaining energy and well-being in higher temperatures
**Wear Sunscreen**: Protecting your skin from the sun's rays is essential, especially if you plan to spend time outdoors. We suggest applying sunscreen regularly.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRANSPORTATION & ACCOMODATION:
- Nike Football Camp does not provide any transportation to/from camp from the airport, train stations, or bus depots. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick
up your child on time. - Day and Extended Day campers are responsible for arranging their own overnight accommodations if needed.
- US Sports Camps, the Camp Director, camp staff, and the host facility are not liable for any travel-related arrangements, including but not limited to flights, hotels, Airbnb’s, or rental cars.
- We recommend booking refundable or flexible travel and accommodation options in case of any changes to the camp schedule
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
