Director David Adams
Dave Adams is in his first season as an assistant coach for the St. Olaf football program and serves as the wide receivers coach. Adams returns to the collegiate coaching ranks after retiring from the Minnesota Army National Guard in 2023, most recently serving five years as the Public Affairs Officer (Major) for the historic 34th Red Bull Infantry Division based in Arden Hills, Minn. His time in the military included a deployment to the Middle East in 2018-2019 which kept him out of coaching for two years.

Assistant Director Eric Pulley
Eric Pulley is in his sixth season as the running backs coach for the St. Olaf football program in 2023-24. During his time on the Hill, St. Olaf has produced four All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) selections at running back, landing an honoree at the position in every season from 2018-22 (2020 season canceled). In 2022, Jordan Embry earned his second-straight All-MIAC accolade and was named a D3football.com Second Team All-Region honoree.

Assistant Director Joe McPherson
Joe McPherson serves as varsity head coach and on the Orono Youth Football Board in a non-voting capacity. Since taking over the Orono Varsity Football program in 2019, Joe has led the team on a steady climb, highlighted by a Section Championship and State Semi-Finals appearance in 2021 and another Section Championship in 2023. The Spartans are a team on the rise under Coach McPherson!

Instruction will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, team play, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2024 CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: July 29-August 1, 2024
- Age Group: 8-18
- Gender: Co-ed
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 9:00am-3:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to camp start time
- Lunch: Lunch will not be provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Daily Football Instruction
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
- Nike Football Camp T-Shirt, Cinch Sack, Wristband, Sticker, and potentially other prizes!
INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
- Offensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Hand-Eye Coordination, Ball Handling and Position, Passing Drills, Catching Drills, Proper Grip and Throwing, Running Routes
- Defensive Skills: Specific Position Skill Work, Explanation of Defenses (Zone/Man-to-Man), Footwork, Defensive Fundamentals and Tackling Techniques
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Outdoor Fields.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
