Basketball Summer Travel Teams Selecting a Few More Members

NBC International Tours will be sending appromimately 100 athletes and coaches to the UK and Germany this summer to compete on summer travel teams. Athletes have an opportunity to play in games and tournaments, sightsee and experience historical landmarks, as well as improve leadership and basketball skills. The travel teams for volleyball are full and the basketball rosters for the teams to Germany are decided.

Travel Team director Bonnie Tucker still has a few openings on the USA boys travel team, the USA girls travel team and the Canadian travel team heading to the UK including London, Blackpook, and the Isle of Man. Selection for this International tour includes personal letters of reference, skill level, and ability to cover travel expenses. Deadline for consideration for the 2013 summer tour ends March 15. Applications for the 2014 International trave team season will open starting in June 2013. Every athlete who attends an NBC Camps summer program who is age eligible can try-out to be invited for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
