US Sports Camps Announces the Snow Valley Basketball Schools 2020 Summer Line-Up
Snow Valley Basketball Schools, a division of US Sports Camps, have announced their 2020 summer camp line-up. They will be returning to camper favorites in California and Iowa for multiple weeks of training with USA Basketball licensed coaches. These advanced overnight camps are geared towards intermediate and advanced players looking to train in a serious and focused environment.
Pete Rivas and Manasa Chanaiwa, co-directors of both UC Santa Barbara and Westmont College, bring a combined sixty plus years of boys and girls youth, high school, and college coaching experience. Positional breakdowns, classroom sessions, early morning conditioning, and evening games are just a few of the items included into the daily schedule.
When asked to describe his son’s experience at camp, one father said, “This was one of the most intense athletic experiences he has ever had, and he loved every minute of it! The coaches were positive and gave tremendous individualized feedback that has really made a positive and lasting impact on his game.”
Don Showalter, an Eleven-time USA Basketball gold medalist head coach, directs at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He is joined by his staff of top college, high school, and club coaches. This long-time camper favorite is packed with early morning training and ends each night with league games in the late evening. Campers come wanting to work to get to the next level and coaches expect campers to come ready to work hard and push themselves to get there.
A mother of a Wartburg camper said, “Cooper really liked his coach, the experience, the approach his coach took with his team, and the individual attention to make him better. He liked the report card at the end, which not only was positive, but had some great criticism along with encouraging words on how to improve. This is a fantastic camp and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.”
