US Sports Camps Tips Off 2015 Santa Barbara Snow Valley Basketball School Camp Schedule

Celebrating its 54th year of operation as the top summer basketball school in California, Snow Valley is pleased to welcome Casey Jacobsen as a coach for 2015.

Founded in 1961, the Snow Valley Basketball School has helped boys and girls of all ages take their game to the next level. Located at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, Snow Valley attracts campers from all over the world and provides a unique opportunity to learn from the best high-school, college and pro-level coaches. Campers will have the option to reside on campus in the newly renovated Van Kampen Hall or they can commute by selecting the extended day option (8am-8pm). Daily instruction will focus on individual skill development, leadership, team games and other activities.

US Sports Camps is excited to announce the 2015 Snow Valley Basketball School camp schedule for girls and boys:

  • Weekend Offensive Skills Program: July 17-19 (Ages 14-18)

Snow Valley Boys Basketball School

  • Complete Skills Session I: July 19-23 (Ages 11-18)
  • Weekend Offensive Skills Program: July 24-26 (Ages 14-18)
  • Complete Skills Session II: July 26-30 (Ages 11-18)

"We are excited to have Casey Jacobsen join Snow Valley as our guest coach for boys (session I and the weekend offensive skills program)," said VP of Basketball Operations for US Sports Camps, Brent Koonce. "Casey brings immeasurable experience as a standout student-athlete, as well as a teacher of the game at all levels of basketball. His passion and energy will provide a major boost to the program going forward and he will be able to help bridge the gap for anyone who wants to learn how to compete at the high school, college, overseas and NBA level.”

“Growing up in Southern California, I have known about the Snow Valley Basketball School for a long time. It had the reputation as the place to go for individual skill development in an intense, competitive environment. I remember hearing stories of the late night games followed by early morning skill work. I can’t wait to get to Westmont this summer and build on the strong foundation that exists. I love working with young players that want to improve; my goal is to share what helped me get better as a player and make an impact on Southern California hoops!”
