Join Olympic finalist Hazel Clark at The Hackley School for an empowering one-day Sports Performance Clinic!
This clinic is designed to help athletes elevate their Speed, Quickness, and Agility (SQA). This high-intensity session runs from 9:00am–12:00pm and offers athletes of all levels the chance to train with world-class instruction and proven performance methods.
Throughout the clinic, participants will work through dynamic warm-ups, acceleration and top-end speed mechanics, lateral movement and change-of-direction drills, footwork and reaction training, and power-based plyometrics. With an emphasis on proper technique, movement efficiency, and confidence building, athletes will walk away with practical tools to enhance performance in any sport.

Camp Director Hazel Clark
Hazel Clark is an American middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800 meters middle distance race. Clark was a member of the U.S. Olympic team in 2000, 2004 and 2008. She has won six national titles and two USA Olympic Trials events during her career.

The Clark family has designed a comprehensive training camp program which focuses on sport performance fundamentals including agility drills, endurance, speed and core strengthening as well as the mental edge necessary for top athletic performances.
Hazel Clark Sport Performance Camps offer expert instruction from our staff of Olympic stars in a challenging, fun and inspiring environment.
In addition to members of the Clark family, the camp is facilitated by other world-class athletes and coaches.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
- Grouped by: age, ability and event
- Evaluation: by coaching staff
- Equipment Needed: Campers should bring at least one pair of broken in running shoes. Event shoes/spikes are recommended but not required. Please be sure to properly mark your equipment, so that it can be easily identified.
- Facility: Outdoor 400m Tartan track
CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
ALL CAMPERS:
- Extra Athletic clothing
- 1-2 pairs of broken in running shoes/ event spikes
- Non-running shoes
- Water bottle
- Sunblock
- Packed lunch and snacks
- Small gym bag/backpack
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
CAMP TUITION PAYMENTS
Full payment of camp fees must be completed by the first day of the month before camp. For example:
- June Camps: final payment is due on May 1
- July Camps: final payment is due on June 1
- August Camps: final payment is due on July 1
Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days before the start of their camp will forfeit all camp fees paid to date and be removed from the camp.
Your confirmation email shows your balance due and balance due date. Final payments can be made through the US Sports Camps Customer Portal or by phone at 1-800-645-3226.
BEHAVIOR POLICIES
We may ask campers who require 1×1 supervision, disrupt the camp experience, or threaten the safety of themselves or others to leave camp. Behaviors meriting expulsion include, but are not limited to: a cause or threat of violence, putting themselves or others in danger, possession of a weapon, possession or use of alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, drugs or illegal substance, robbery, damage to property, sexual misconduct or assault, harassment, hazing, racist remarks or acts, or intimidation. In those cases, we will contact a parent to pick up the child immediately. We do not issue refunds to campers who are asked to leave camp.

CANCELLATION DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event a camp day is cancelled or camp hours are adjusted due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to provide make-up time. If make-up time is not possible, no refund will be issued for the first cancelled day or any shortened hours. If additional full days are cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, a pro-rated camp credit voucher will be issued for each cancelled day beyond the first.

- JJ Clark is a 22 time Coach of the Year, a member of the 2008 Olympic team coaching staff, and is the Franklin P. Johnson Director of Track and Field at Stanford University, overseeing Stanford’s track and field and cross country programs. Hackley School is located in Tarrytown, NY. Set on a 285 acre hilltop, the Hackley campus houses beautiful academic buildings and exceptional athletics facilities rivaling many small colleges. The athletic facilities include a six–lane competition track, a six-lane 25 yard pool, and 6.4 miles of running trails.
