CRWC Natatorium

Opened in the spring of 2003 and renovated in time for the 2015-16 season, the Natatorium played host to Houston's first dual meet against North Texas on Oct. 11, 2003. In only a short time, the facility has been host to several prestigious events, including the Conference USA Championships from 2004-2013, the 2004, 2008 and 2013 NCAA Zone D Diving Meet, and the 2007 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Championships. In February of 2016, the newly reopened facility will host the American Athletic Conference Championships for the first time.

The facility covers more than 264,000 square feet with the natatorium being only a small part of the building. At 70 meters by 25 yards, the new pool ranks among the longest in the state of Texas. It holds more than 1.3 million gallons of water, shallowing out to 4 feet and increasing to 17 feet at the deep end.

Three bulkheads allow the pool to be shaped into different configurations as needed.

The overall facility features 24,000 square feet of weight equipment, four-lane indoor jogging track, a 53-foot indoor climbing wall and six multi-purpose aerobic rooms. The facility is open to all UH students.
