AT NIKE SWIM CAMP
Come join us this summer 2019 at The Nike Swim Camp on Long Island. Camp will be hosted at The Stony Brook School, situated on 55 beautiful acres, on the north shore of Long Island, New York.
This camp, lead by Coach Marc Danin of Islanders Aquatics, is designed to help competitive swimmers improve their stroke technique so they can compete at the next level. Our goal at Nike Swim Camp has always been to engage and inspire each swimmer at camp and instill positive character traits such as confidence, self-motivation, and a passion for the sport.
This camp is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g. U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast and freestyle.

Camp Director Marc Danin
Directing camp this summer is Marc Danin who has been with Islanders Aquatics for 6 seasons working as a Head Coach.View Marc Danin's Bio ⟩
Coach Danin brings a contagious passion for the sport to the deck every day and it’s easy to see that in the swimmers he works with. Coach Marc approaches every season with a specific training progression, every week with a race specific training program, and every day with fresh creative workout aimed at keeping the swimmers engaged in the daily challenge. This past year IA had his first swimmer qualify for Winter Junior Nationals! He grew up swimming for Three Village Swim Club coached by Barry Roffer for 10 years after scholastic swimming. Marc then went on to collegiate swimming at the University of Stony Brook where he earned MVP awards and records.
This summer, Nike Swim Camps is offering one session of overnight with a day camp (9:00am-4:00pm) option for ages 9-18. Upon arrival at camp, campers are placed in groups with other swimmers having similar abilities and goals. Our camp staff will do their best to accommodate your needs, keeping in consideration your experience and desire to improve.

DAY CAMP AMENITIES

• Camp hours: MON 2PM-9PM, TUE-WED 9AM-4PM, THURS 9AM-12 NOON
A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
Check-in takes place between 1:00-2:00pm on Monday, July 8th. There will be a camp orientation meeting at 2:00pm and parents are welcome to join their campers for this meeting. A detailed schedule for the week will be provided at that time.
There will be a closing ceremony at the pool on Thursday, July 11th at 11:30am. Overnight campers check-out from the dorm immediately following.
The staff live in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
ROOMMATES & DORM
2 campers per room. If you have a roommate request, and have not already given it to us, please do so as soon as possible. Roommate requests are not guaranteed, if you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

MEDICAL FACILITY: a certified trainer will be on staff at all times
All meals are included for overnight campers. Meals start with dinner on the first day and end with breakfast on the last day.
Day Campers check-in between 1:00-2:00pm on the first day. Arrive dressed and ready to swim. At that time, you will be assigned a counselor and you will be given a complete schedule of all events during the week. Day campers are invited to stay for dinner on the first day of camp and depart at 8:30pm.

TEAM DISCOUNT: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. Please have a team contact reach out directly to the USSC office at 1-800-645-3226 to receive a discount code to identify your group. Campers may then register through the website at their convenience and apply the coupon code during check-out.
