Reviews & Testimonials

  • Looking forward to next summer!

My daughter has been going to swim camp for the last 3 years and loves it. Not only is this a swim camp, but it also has the feel of a summer camp. They work hard on all of their strokes and get great feedback. They also do many activities, besides swimming, that keep the campers active. Thanks to Nathan, Sophie and the rest of the Maverick team for making this such a fun and learning experience. My daughter is looking forward to summer 2019!

  • This is a camp we will definitely be back to!

She absolutely loved this swim camp! The coaches were so helpful she said. There were just enough kids where she still had one on one time. We have been to camps where they don’t say one word to her since there are so many kids. She has never been videoed under water and that was a very cool experience for her. She loved being critiqued. She loved the coaches and made new friends. This is a camp we will definitely be back to!

  • she had a great time!

She had lots of fun meeting new people and received individual feedback from her coaches on each of her strokes. She learned about the important mental aspects of swimming, along with the physical aspects as well. Overall, she had a great time! I know that Covid has set everyone back this year and that it has been hard, but I think having an overnight camp would be very fun for her and everyone else! This year was the best the camp could have been with the Covid restrictions!

This camp was really fun! We had lots of useful sets and drills to do during each workout, and we worked a lot on our technique by analyzing videos of top-level swimmers and comparing their strokes to our own. We campers also had fun outside of the pool, doing some group activities and just spending time together. Even the food was good!

My kids went to this camp last summer as their first camp experience and it was great for them. The coaches were all super nice and very supportive, and gave each swimmer plenty of attention. The overall attitude and atmosphere at the camp was positive, the coaches were engaged in the activities and each swimmer was important. I was impressed to learn that the coaches actually video-recorded the swimmers doing their strokes and then reviewed the videos with the swimmers to give constructive feedback; what a great learning tool!
