Come join Macalester College Women's Swimming & Diving Coach, Kyllian Griffin, this summer at the Nike Swim Camp at Macalester College. Coach Griffin was chosen as the MIAC Women's Swimming & Diving Coach of the Year in both 2022-23 and 2023-2024. The coaching staff will be members of the Macalester College Swimming & Diving team, which broke 21 school records and was ranked in the Top 10 for team GPA in the entire country in the 2022-23 season. The Nike Swim Camp combines elite-level stroke technique instruction with a fantastic summer camp experience!
Camp will be a blend of drill sessions and technique focus with opportunities to race and train throughout camp. Our staff is committed to helping competitive swimmers improve their stroke technique and to bring out the very best in every swimmer we coach. Campers train each day at Riley Pool in the Leonard Natatorium. The Riley Pool features 10 lanes and includes the most up-to-date timing equipment. It is 25 yards by 25 meters.
The Nike Swim Camp at Macalester College is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend that you have competitive swimming experience (e.g., U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast, and freestyle.
