Join Head Swim Coach Melinda Hunzeker for the 3rd annual Nike Swim Camp at Adams State University, a university deeply rooted in a winning tradition. Nestled in the scenic San Luis Valley, Adams State University is surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the Sangre de Cristo and San Juan mountain ranges.
Designed for competitive swimmers, our camp curriculum focuses on elevating stroke technique. Receive personalized stroke analysis and instruction throughout multiple daily pool sessions, all held at the state-of-the-art Plachy Swimming Pool. Swimmers will have the opportunity to learn in intimate groups, as each camper receives guidance from the camp director, dedicated coaches, and experienced counselors. The Nike Swim Camp at Adams State University is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender). For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g., U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast, and freestyle.
