StarsTHIS CAMP WILL RETURN IN 2024
Due to a pool restoration project scheduled for this summer, the 2023 Nike Swim Camp at Lewis & Clark College has been cancelled. We recommend our overnight camp taking place at Oregon State University July 16-20 and July 23-27. Please click here for more information.
Lewis & Clark College, nestled on a quiet wooded hillside six miles from downtown Portland, is the perfect setting for a Nike Swim Camp. Campers train daily in the Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion, an indoor 25-yard x 8-lane pool equipped with a new Daktronics scoreboard and timing system which is home to the Pioneer swimming and diving team.
This camp is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g. U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast and freestyle.
Highlights Include
- Stroke technique refinement for competitive swimming
- Low camper to staff ratio
- Small group and individual stroke analysis/instruction
- Every camper receives a Nike Camp T-shirt and Nike Swim Cap
- Every camper is eligible to receive merit-based prizes during camp

See you next year!
July 11, 2015: My daughter was one of the youngest swimmers having just turned 9 also traveling out of state without knowing a single person came away with a wide knowledge of skills to improve her strokes, but also meeting new friends. She immediately went to swim team practice at home and told all her friends about how much fun she had and what she learned. I am happy to see her dive straight out and not flop down when starting off the blocks. Thank you for a wonderful experience. As a mom, knowing she was in such good hands made the drive home easier. see you next year.

Really Good Camp, Lots of Fun for the Swimmer!
March 3, 2018: My then 10 year old daughter (now 11) attended this camp during June, 2018. There was definitely improvement in her strokes. The dorm rooms were very comfortable and the food except. My daughter did not want to attend the camp before she went, then demanded to attend the camp this year because she had such a great time. We overnight ed her and it appears very safe. I did not like the start and turn clinic because there were to many students and not enough detailed corrections. If the starts and turns was done better I would have rated the camp 5 star. She will attend again this year.
