The Nike Swim Camp at Saint Michael's College University is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g., U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast, and freestyle.

    Head Coach

    Eileen Hall returns for her 14th season as head coach of the Saint Michael's men's and women's swimming & diving programs in 2023-24, and 15th overall with the teams. Hall, whose charges lay claim to every school swimming record, is the longest-tenured women's swimming & diving head coach in College history, and enters the year one dual-meet victory short of Dave Leonard's school record (57). Hall trails Jim Donoghue '70 by one year for the longest stint guiding the men.

    Hall began a four-year term on the NCAA Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Rules Committee in fall 2021 as the NCAA Division II representative. She is also the College's aquatics director.

    Hall graduated from the NCAA Women Coaches Academy (2013) and has coached swimmers at a variety of levels, including at the University of Georgia's prestigious Bauerle Bulldog Swim Camp (2019). In summer 2016, she was the only woman invited to staff the Northeast Swimming Prospect Showcases in Bristol, R.I. Hall has earned her Level II certification through the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA), and is also qualified as a coach with the United States Swimming Association. She has attended ASCA clinics in Florida, Massachusetts and New Jersey since 2007.

    A standout amateur swimmer, Hall was an All-America at Glens Falls (N.Y.) High School in 1986, and went on to earn an athletic scholarship at Division I Bucknell University. Hall held high school state records at Glens Falls until 2002, and was inducted into the Glens Falls High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009.

Camp Details

SECURE YOUR SPOT!

You can expect a high demand for these first-come-first-served camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, Saint Michael's College is offering one session of overnight with an extended day camp option (9:00am-8:00pm) option. Campers will train each day in the Ross Sports Center, which has a natatorium with a six-lane swimming pool, a one-meter diving board, and a second-story viewing gallery. Overnight campers are housed comfortably on the Saint Michael's College campus in air-conditioned dormitories.

  • Check-in: Overnight Campers: Check-in takes place between 1:00pm-2:00pm on Thursday, June 25th at Aubin Hall. Extended Day Campers: Check-in takes place between 1:45pm-2:00pm on Thursday at Aubin Hall.
  • Check-out: Check-out takes place at 11:00am on Sunday. Please note: All campers can still enroll in the Starts & Turns Clinic.

  • Meals: All meals are provided for Overnight campers. Lunch and dinner are provided for all Extended Day (commuter) campers.
  • Program: The Stroke Technique program is designed to provide competitive swimmers with a better understanding of swimming fundamentals. Stroke refinement along with constructive feedback will be the focus of the camp and allows each participant to gain a greater knowledge of proper stroke mechanics and ways to improve themselves individually.

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE

  • Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. After all team members have successfully registered, contact us to receive a $25 refund per camper.

CAMP CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

Check-in: Thursday, June 25th

  • Overnight: Check-in takes place between 1:00pm-2:00pm on Thursday at Aubin Hall.
  • Extended Day: Check-in takes place between 1:45pm-2:00pm on Thursday at Aubin Hall.

Check-out: Sunday, June 28th

  • Check-out takes place at 11:00am on Sunday at Ross Sports Center. Please note: All campers can still enroll in the Starts & Turns Clinic.

EXTRA NIGHT STAYOVER

The Starts & Turns Clinic begins on Sunday at 12:00pm and concludes on Monday at 11:00am. OVERNIGHT CAMPERS will check-out of the dorms after the clinic concludes. EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS will attend the clinic from 12:00pm-8:00pm on Sunday and 9:00am-11:00am on Monday. All campers can still enroll in the Starts & Turns Clinic.

2026 HOUSING

  • Dorm: Aubin Hall
  • Number of Campers Per Room: 2 per room
  • Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual and received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
  • Bathrooms: Shared
  • Linens: Not included. Bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
  • Air Conditioning: YES - Dorm has A/C

SUPERVISION
The staff reside in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning, afternoon, and evening training sessions
  • Overnight campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided. Lunch will not be provided on the last day of camp.
  • Extended Day campers: Dinner provided on Monday; Lunch and Dinner are provided Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Supervision: Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Swim Camps t-shirt and prizes.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the director's discretion.
  • Equipment Needed: Please bring your water swimsuit, swim cap, goggles and towel(s)
  • Facility: Ross Sports Center
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS

Checklist of Things to Bring: We recommend that all Extended Day Campers bring a daily pack with the following items: swimsuit, swim cap, goggles, towel, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, sandals, water bottle, dry land gear (running shoes, t-shirt, athletic shorts, sweatshirt) and any other appropriate clothing for that day’s activities which will be described to you on the first day of camp.

Camp Schedule & Meals:

  • Thursday: Day Campers should arrive dressed and ready to swim. You will be assigned a counselor and given a complete schedule of all events during the week. Day Campers stay until 8:00pm. Dinner is provided.
  • Friday-Saturday: Extended Day Camper Hours – 9:00am-8:00pm. Lunch and dinner is provided.
  • Sunday: Day Camper Hours - 9:00am-11:00am. Check-out is immediately after the camp concludes at 11:00am. Departure time may change depending on the event.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
